Magnetic therapy
It is a real innovation, relieving back, leg, muscle and shoulder pain, facilitating the treatment of venous and vascular diseases, helping recovery after surgery, etc… The health benefits of this method are obvious. After the first treatment session, the person feels better, less painful, with an improvement in well-being and, consequently, in his or her mood. Living pain-free is what you need to do, and magnetic therapy devices can help you do that.
Magnetic field therapy and the machines used for it have the following functions:
- reduces fatigue;
- Pain relief (back, legs, loins, arms, etc.);
- helps treat venous diseases;
- Magnetic therapy machines also help in the post-operative period;
- speeds up fracture healing;
- treats venous insufficiency, etc.
TENS/IST
This is a treatment using pulsed electricity. Rectangular and triangular pulsed currents are closest to the body. They coincide with the biorhythms of the body.
Therapeutic effects of pulsed currents:
- suppresses the inflammatory process;
- pain-relieving;
- improves tissue nutrition;
- reduces spasms;
- promotes tissue repair;
- Normalizes irritation and inhibition processes in the cerebral cortex, stimulating tissues.
Bioptron
It is a light therapy that can be used as a complementary method to conventional treatments and as a stand-alone therapy for certain indications.
“BIOPTRON light therapy:
- improves microcirculation;
- harmonises metabolic processes;
- strengthens the human immune system;
- stimulates regeneration and repair processes throughout the body;
- promotes wound healing;
- relieves pain, reducing its intensity.
“BIOPTRON light has a biostimulating effect – when applied to the skin, it stimulates light-sensitive internal cell structures and molecules. This leads to chain reactions within the cells and so-called secondary reactions, which can affect not only the area of skin being treated, but also the whole body.
Ultrasound therapy
The mechanical effect is like a micromassage. The ultrasound wave vibrates the tissues and builds up heat, causing physiological changes characteristic of a massage: blood circulation is accelerated, bringing extra oxygen to the tissues and speeding up tissue regeneration and healing
Thermal effect – it causes heat to build up in the tissues that absorb the ultrasound wave energy, improving blood circulation, dilating capillaries, relaxing muscles and reducing pain.
Physical chemistry – it produces biologically active substances, improves the consolidation of bone tissue and reduces inflammatory processes.
Ultrasound therapy is recommended in the following cases:
- ear, nose and throat diseases;
- gastrointestinal diseases;
- inflammation of the uterus and its appendages;
- eye diseases (after assessing the possibility of contraindications);
- pneumonia and bronchitis;
- musculoskeletal disorders and post-traumatic conditions;
- degenerative and dystrophic changes in the joints and spine;
- peripheral nervous system diseases and injuries;
- adhesive processes, scars;
- trophic ulcers, bedsores;
- slowed bone consolidation after fractures.
Darsonvalisation
Darsonvalisation (after the French physician and physicist Jacques D’Arsonval) is a treatment using alternating electric currents or high-frequency electromagnetic fields.
The treatment reduces sensitivity in nerve endings, dilates small blood vessels and speeds up metabolism. In local darsonvalisation, a hollow glass electrode is placed on the desired area of the body or inserted into a body cavity, and a high-frequency (100-500 kHZ) alternating electric current is passed from the machine.
Local effects of darsonvalisation on the skin:
- stimulation of venous and lymphatic circulation;
- faster elimination of slags and metabolic products;
- boosts intracellular energy processes;
- resorption of swellings;
- improves skin turgor and elasticity, rejuvenating the skin;
- slows down the formation of age lines;
- normalises sebaceous gland function;
- for oily seborrhoea, drying oily skin;
- to treat acne;
- improves hair growth;
- slows hair loss and the development of alopecia.
Compression therapy (lymphatic drainage)
Compression therapy, also known as pressotherapy, involves gently squeezing certain points on the body to activate venous blood flow
People who have problems with lymphatic distribution usually complain of poor health. The deterioration is caused by inadequate venous circulation, where the lymph is unable to return the fluid from the tissues to the blood vessels. The lymphatic system is also responsible for the absorption and transport of fats in the small intestine to the heart and circulatory system. When these functions are disturbed, the person has problems with blood circulation, may feel tired all the time, find it difficult to avoid unpleasant, acute pain, and the body may start to swell because of the fluids that are not being removed from the body.
Compression therapy is useful and widely used:
- edema of the hands or feet (swelling of the hands or feet) of various origins;
- if you notice prominent veins on your legs, waist, arms (for venous insufficiency/varicose veins);
- when you notice extremely prominent capillaries in different parts of the body;
- to accelerate the healing of wounds and ulcers;
- to relieve muscle and nerve pain;
- when you have persistent, tiring, heavy legs;
- sports injuries, with the aim of returning to an active lifestyle more quickly (for faster rehabilitation after injuries);
- to prevent thrombosis;
- to maintain normal lymphatic and venous circulation;
- after surgery, complex surgical treatment;
- for cellulite reduction;
- to improve or repair tissue structures;
- to shed extra kilos.
